The Wilson Lakemen can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They really took it to Albion for the full four quarters, racking up a 54-18 win on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-8.
Leading Wilson to victory were Peyton McInnis and Rian Faery. McInnis dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Faery dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 steals. Faery is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Rowan Simpson, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Wilson's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Albion, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Wilson will be playing at home against Barker at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Albion does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
