Sky View is 9-1 against Logan since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Sky View Bobcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Logan Grizzlies at 4:30 p.m. Logan took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Sky View, who comes in off a win.
Having struggled with nine losses in a row dating back to last season, Sky View turned things around against Bonneville on Wednesday. They blew past the Lakers 10-0. The Bobcats not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 29, 2024.
CJ Lofthouse was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024.

In other batting news, Isaac Daniels and Skyler Murdock did most of the damage at the plate: Daniels scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Murdock scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance gave Daniels a new career-high in runs. Rad Sparrow also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Sky View always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bonneville only posted an OBP of .217.
Meanwhile, Logan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-3 to Wasatch.
Sam Smith made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyler Briel, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3.
Sky View's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Logan, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
Logan's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Sky View hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .333. It's a different story for Logan, though, as they've only averaged .241. Will they be able to contain Sky View's hitters?
Sky View beat Logan 7-2 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will Sky View repeat their success, or does Logan have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
