McIntosh won the last time they faced Northgate and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Chiefs came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 2-0.

Claudia Meditz paced McIntosh's offense, picking up ten kills. Meditz got some help from Baylee Tanton and her 13 assists. Meditz and Tanton didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Loss or not, Northgate got some senior leadership from Sienna Brightman and Karien Miranda. Brightman had 12 assists and two aces, while Miranda had 12 digs. Brightman has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more assists the last three times she's played.

McIntosh is on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-8 record this season. As for Northgate, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 13-18.
