Two dominant signal callers in Van Shockley and Jackson Presley are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Bozeman Hawks will take on the Glacier Wolfpack at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

The critical scores for Bozeman came from Logan Humphrey, Marcus Howlett, Oscar Glick, and Beau Wheeler.

Bozeman's defense didn't let the opposing QB, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Lucas Garson and Thomas Moran, who racked up four sacks between them. Moran also made five total tackles, which is notable because Bozeman is undefeated when he posts at least three total tackles, but 3-4 otherwise. The Hawks received some extra help from Howlett, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Meanwhile, Glacier's offense rose to the challenge against an Eagles defense that boasted an average of only 12.89 points allowed two weeks ago. The Wolfpack breezed past Big Sky to the tune of 42-12. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Wolfpack had established a 29-point advantage.
Bozeman better keep an eye on Asher Knopik. He was instrumental in Glacier's win, rushing for 189 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry. Those 189 rushing yards gave Knopik a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cooper Pelc, who picked up 81 receiving yards and one TD.
Glacier didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Pelc led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself.
Bozeman's record now sits at 6-4. As for Glacier, their record is now 9-0.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Bozeman has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 205.1 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Glacier struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 227 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Bozeman was dealt a bruising 62-21 defeat at the hands of Glacier in their previous meeting back in September. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Hawks were down 42-14.
