With a playoff game on the line, the Barrington Eagles rose to the challenge on Friday. They put the hurt on St. Raphael Academy with a sharp 29-8 win. The result was nothing new for Barrington, who have now won nine matches by 21 points or more so far this season.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Barrington, bringing their record for this year to 9-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.5 points per game. As for St. Raphael Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
Barrington will square off against Cumberland at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cumberland will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. St. Raphael Academy will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Moses Brown at 6:00 p.m. on November 22nd.
