Mayflower - Small recap Sept. 26, 2012
Upper Cape Cod RVT moved up to 252 from 309 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Mayflower - Small. The Rams climbed the ranks as a result of a 21-16 win over O'Bryant.
Old Colony RVT took down Keefe Tech 40-8 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jacob Pringle threw for 110 yards and one touchdown and ran for 13 yards in the win.
The Cougars' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Wiliam Rogers chipped in 55 yards. Kevin Blaise helped Old Colony RVT's passing attack out by catching one ball for 23 yards.
Brett Aguiar was the best wideout in the league this week as Old Colony RVT defeated the Broncos. Aguiar tallied one reception for 44 yards.
Bryce Guilbeault's team's Pringle and Blaise have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Pringle has thrown for 268 yards this season, while Blaise, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has three catches for 101 yards. Upper Cape Cod RVT's Jonathan Dumont leads the league in rushing yards with 207.
The Cougars led Mayflower - Small in scoring this week after putting up 40 points on Keefe Tech. Pringle in the win.
