Wood-Ridge found a leader in Isabella Capuano as the team took down Garfield on Monday. Capuano turned in her biggest game of the season, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Capuano and Wood-Ridge will be playing in front of their home fans against Saddle Brook at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Devils have some work to do to even out the 1-6 series between these two since April of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
