Covington lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Evangelical Christian, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's contest. The Chargers put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 12-2 win on Thursday. Considering the Chargers have won 11 matches by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Covington's record now sits at 12-13. As for Evangelical Christian, they moved to 18-8 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
