Fullerton had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 21-point drubbing they dealt Marina on Friday. The Indians never let the Vikings get on the board and left with a 21-0 win. Considering the Indians have won five contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Fullerton's receiving core played a big role in the win, headlined by Caden Wise and Luke Viramontes. Wise rushed for 73 yards and one score while Viramontes picked up 86 receiving yards and one touchdown. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 70 yards.

Fullerton pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 1.8 points on average over those games. As for Marina, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
