Volleyball Game Preview: First Baptist Academy Eagles vs. Living Rock Academy Bobcat

The First Baptist Academy Eagles will take on the Living Rock Academy Bobcat at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Thursday, First Baptist Academy made easy work of Living Rock Academy and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Bobcat recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

First Baptist Academy was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12, 25-17.

First Baptist Academy will have to keep a close watch on Avery Chandeler and Hailee Cox, a pair of players who had a big impact on Living Rock Academy's prior game. Chandeler had 17 digs and two assists, while Cox had five kills, five digs, and two aces. Those kills marked the first that Cox has had this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Living Rock Academy and nudges their season record down to 4-7. As for First Baptist Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2-1.
