The Colonial Forge Eagles waltzed into Saturday's match with two straight wins but they left with three. They strolled past Loudoun County with points to spare, taking the game 58-44.
Colonial Forge got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jalen Pierre out in front who scored 15 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 steals. Dakari Phillips was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 13 rebounds and 4 blocks.
Colonial Forge's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Loudoun County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Colonial Forge will head out on the road to face off against Hylton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Hylton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Wednesday. As for Loudoun County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Independence at 7:15 p.m. on December 11th.
