On Friday, Munford are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Overton at 7:00 PM. Munford have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
Everything went Munford's way against Millington Central last Friday as they made off with a 55-30 win.
Meanwhile, it could have been worse for Overton, but it could have been a whole lot better too, as the team fell 16-34 to St. Benedict at Auburndale last week.
Munford's victory lifted them to 1-1 while Overton's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Munford can add another positive mark to their record or if Overton can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Munford's step.
