The Conway Christian Eagles lost against the Lee Academy Cavaliers back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Conway Christian took a hard 56-41 fall against Lee Academy.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dalton Droll, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Polatty, who scored 11 points.
Conway Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Lee Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.
Conway Christian and Marlboro Academy will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Marlboro Academy is ranked 187th, while Conway Christian is ranked 201st). As for Lee Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against King's Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. King's Academy is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
