The Bartlett Panthers are ranked highly in their home state, and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of the Incarnate Word Academy Red Knights. Bartlett took a 58-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Incarnate Word Academy. Bartlett's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Carrington Jones, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Morgan Williams, who scored nine points.
Bartlett's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 13-7. As for Incarnate Word Academy, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Bartlett won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Burroughs at 10:00 a.m. on January 7th. Incarnate Word Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Mater Dei at 6:30 p.m. on January 11th.
