Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Scituate). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 48-14 win over the Quincy Presidents. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Sailors' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 16th, while the Presidents are ranked 61st).

The victory made it two in a row for Scituate and bumps their season record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 14 points in those games. As for Quincy, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Scituate is set to square off against their familiar foe North Quincy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Quincy will face off against rival Hanover at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
