Bullitt Central took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Beth Haven, who comes in off a win.
Beth Haven put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 89-42 win over Varsity Opponent at home.
Beth Haven's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but DaMontez Malone led the charge by scoring 19 points along with six assists and six steals. Malone is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Levi Langley, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Bullitt Central pushed their score all the way to 66 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 76-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Bullitt.
Beth Haven's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Bullitt Central, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.
Beth Haven ended up a good deal behind the Cougars in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, losing 81-64. Can Beth Haven avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
