Bayside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Micala Poe, who scored 25 points along with 3 steals. The game was Poe's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jessie Ware, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 steals.
Bayside now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Cox, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Bayside will be playing at home against Landstown at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Cox won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Cape Henry Collegiate at 5:30 p.m. on December 6th. Cape Henry Collegiate presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Cox in Virginia (Cape Henry Collegiate is ranked 107th, while Cox is ranked 233rd).
