The Midway Green Wave will head out on the road to take on the Scott Highlanders at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Midway is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53 points per game this season.

Midway's loss came about despite a quality game from Kyleigh Cawood, who posted 12 points and three steals. Cawood is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Addie Armes, who had seven points.
Meanwhile, Scott entered their tilt with Anderson County two weeks ago with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 43-40 victory over the Mavericks. While the Highlanders didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
This is the second loss in a row for Midway and nudges their season record down to 7-5. As for Scott, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2.
