After both having extra time off, the North Adams Green Devils and the Meigs Marauders will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (North Adams has five straight wins, Meigs has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
On Wednesday, North Adams made easy work of Eastern and carried off a 3-0 victory.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: North Adams took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-5, 25-11.

North Adams relied on the efforts of Addison Shupert, who had six digs and four aces, and Morgan Wheeler, who had seven digs and two aces. Wheeler has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.
They weren't the only good servers: North Adams was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in five consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Meigs came up short against Athens on Thursday and fell 3-1.
The final score came out to 25-12, 18-25, 25-9, 25-10.
North Adams will have to contain Marlee Laudermilt as she made an impact in Meigs' last game. She had 13 digs and one assist.
Meigs' defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for North Adams, their win bumped their record up to 16-6.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Wednesday's match: North Adams has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 9.3 aces per game.
