Baseball Recap: Illiana Christian Has No Trouble Against Lake Station Edison

While Illiana Christian put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Lake Station Edison. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Fighting Eagles. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Fighting Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Illiana Christian let Jake Scott and Nick DeBlock run wild. Scott went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double, while DeBlock went 1-for-2 with two runs and one triple. That triple marked the first that DeBlock has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Smith, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Illiana Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Lake Station Edison, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-6.
