Ryland Bradford Has Career Rushing Day
Starting off the list is Abilene's Ryland Bradford, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Bradford rushed for 92 yards and four touchdowns, and also picked up 158 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 58 yards.
The win was the third in a row for Abilene, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Bradford and Abilene will face off against Lubbock at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Sadly, Isaiah Vazquez posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Coronado over Abilene on Friday. Vazquez threw for 395 yards and five touchdowns while completing 75.9% of his passes.
For the season, Vazquez has thrown 10 touchdowns (and and only 2 pick) while averaging 180.7 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had two passing touchdowns.
