Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Monclova Christian Academy). They enjoyed a cozy 85-67 victory over the Northwest Ohio Classical Academy Spartans on Friday. The win was just business as usual for the Thunder, who after five games remain undefeated this season.

Monclova Christian Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.8 points per game. As for Northwest Ohio Classical Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Monclova Christian Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Put-in-Bay at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Monclova Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Put-in-Bay likes a good challenge.
