After a string of three wins, the Jordan Beetdiggers's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 75-44 loss at the hands of Murray. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Jordan has suffered since December 28, 2023.
Jordan's loss came despite strong showings from Brandt Steed and Jake Thomsen. Steed scored 13 points along with six rebounds, while Thomsen scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
It was another big night for Quinton Christman, who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and six assists for Murray. That's the first time this season that Christman pulled down eight or more rebounds. Deacon Poole was another key contributor, scoring six points along with ten assists and three steals.
Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Murray, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Cottonwood the next time they take the court. Jordan will head out to face Cottonwood at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Murray will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
