Volleyball Recap: MACCRAY's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games + How To Watch

It was a good run, but MACCRAY unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Central Minnesota Christian Bluejays by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bluejays this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 last Saturday.

MACCRAY took Central Minnesota Christian into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking nine-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-22, 25-15, 19-25, 15-6.

MACCRAY's loss dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Central Minnesota Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

MACCRAY and Central Minnesota Christian should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. The Wolverines will take on B O L D at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (46 vs. 141). Meanwhile, Central Minnesota Christian (ranked 47th) will meet Dawson-Boyd (ranked 357th) at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
