The Douglas County West Falcon will be playing in front of their home fans against the Arlington Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Douglas County West's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Arlington has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
Last Friday, Douglas County West faced Wahoo in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Douglas County West ended up on the wrong side of a tough 35-12 walloping at the hands of Wahoo. Douglas County West was down 27-6 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Although Douglas County West took the loss, they still got scores from Ryker Wohlers and Wil Reeves.
Meanwhile, Arlington ended up a good deal behind Lakeview on Friday and lost 40-21.
The losing side was boosted by Kaden Foust, who rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 64 receiving yards.
The losses dropped Douglas County West to 6-2 and Arlington to 1-7.
