Creekside is 9-1 against the Trojans since December of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Last Saturday, Creekside had to suffer through a rough 95-52 loss at the hands of the Jaguars. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Creekside in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now lost six in a row.
Despite the loss, Creekside saw an underclassman step up: Daylen Jones scored 21 points. It was the first time this season that Jones scored 15 or more points. Tim Gaulden was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Meanwhile, Banneker was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 43-42 to the Lions.
Creekside dropped their record down to 1-21 with that defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Banneker, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.
