It was a good run, but the Overton Wolverines unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 51-38 to White Station. Overton has not had much luck with White Station recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Several Wolverines players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kierra Baldwin, who scored 15 points. The game was Baldwin's third in a row with at least ten points. Tyiesha Hollimon was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds.
Overton's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-2. As for White Station, the victory got them back to even at 9-9-1.
Overton will be playing at home against Kingsbury at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Kingsbury's defense has only allowed 29.7 points per game this season, so Overton's offense will have their work cut out for Overton. As for White Station, they will head out on the road to face off against Whitehaven at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Whitehaven will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
