Jonathan Morgan Turns in Season-Best Performance
Clarksville was led to victory by Jonathan Morgan, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Morgan threw for 252 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 142 yards while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.
Clarksville's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5. Morgan's next matchup is against Linden-Kildare on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Celeste Gets a Boost from Stewart in 26-20 Victory
Brock Stewart posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 148 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 108 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Celeste's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6. Stewart and Celeste will face off against Maud at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

While Justin Green delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Cumby. Green was unstoppable, forcing a fumble and making 23 total tackles (1.0 for loss).
The loss snapped Cumby's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-3 record. They and Bowie are set to duel on Friday.

Dakari Johnson Makes It Two for Cumby
Another Cumby player making an appearance on this list is Dakari Johnson. He rushed for 128 yards on only 13 carries.
Clarksville's probably not too fond of Johnson given he always seems to get the better of them. Johnson rushed for 114 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries the last time he and the Tigers duked it out back in November of 2023.
