Farmington had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Cleveland Storm by a score of 56-48 on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Scorpions as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Caris Dale had an outrageously good game as she shot 64% from the field on her way to 19 points. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 45.5% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Harmony Thomas, who posted ten points and six boards.
Despite the defeat, Cleveland had strong showings from Danae Elzy, who had 11 points and five rebounds, and KC Winters, who put up ten points and three steals. Elzy is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Erin Winters, who scored nine points and six boards.
Farmington's victory bumped their record up to 23-6. As for Cleveland, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-15.
