After a string of five wins, Anacoco's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holy Savior Menard Eagles. The Indians were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Kyle Scott was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Anacoco is 2-1 when Scott posts two or more runs, but 9-14 otherwise. Luke Thompson was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Anacoco's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Holy Savior Menard, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Anacoco will welcome Rosepine at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Holy Savior Menard, they will host Sacred Heart at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
