Baseball Recap: Bendle Has No Trouble Against Flint Southwestern Academy

While Bendle put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Flint Southwestern Academy. The Tigers blew past the Knights 15-0. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 14 runs or more this season.

Bendle has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Flint Southwestern Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bendle will face off against Atherton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Flint Southwestern Academy, they will square off against West Michigan Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
