It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Beverly Hills Normans had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Valiants a 3-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Beverly Hills, who have now won 11 contests by three goals or more so far this season.
They hit St. Genevieve with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Jonathan Ferd,
Noam Baruch, and
Daniel Spindler.
Beverly Hills is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 15-7-2 record this season. As for St. Genevieve, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-2.
Beverly Hills will head out on the road to square off against Kaiser on Friday. St. Genevieve does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
