Even though the Ocosta Wildcats have not done well against the Northwest Christian Wolverines recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Ocosta came out on top against the Wolverines by a score of 55-46. Ocosta didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.
Leading Ocosta to victory were Luis Solis and Jesus Agramon. Solis dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds, while Agramon scored 15 points along with five steals. Agramon is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Matt Wyland, who scored five points.

That was a full 43.5% of Northwest Christian's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Kaden Lanham, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
Ocosta pushed their record up to 7-13 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Northwest Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
Ocosta will head out on the road to face off against the Pirates at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Adna presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Wildcats in Washington (the Pirates are ranked 113th, while the Wildcats are ranked 315th). As for Northwest Christian, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Acorns at 5:45 p.m. on February 5th.
