Trinity extended their  winning streak to four games  thanks to a huge performance from  Owen Gardner. The Hillers blew past the Laurel Highlands Mustangs, posting  a  48-0 victory for which the team can thank  Gardner, who rushed for 121 yards and a pair of  TDs on only 12 carries, and also caught one  touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional  recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 114  rushing yards.
Trinity now  has a winning record of 5-4. As for Laurel Highlands,  they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-7.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming  contests. Trinity will face off against Belle Vernon at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Hillers will need to watch out since the Leopards have now posted at least 31  points  in their last three games. As for Laurel Highlands, they will challenge Thomas Jefferson at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Jaguars will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  points each  matchup than the last.
