Cottonwood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Peter Oguama, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks. Ryan Nielson was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Cottonwood has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Hillcrest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-8.
