Meanwhile, Hebbronville was the victim of a rough 42-20 defeat at the hands of Taft on Friday. Hebbronville has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Santa Rosa now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Hebbronville, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground as these two are both standouts in the run game. Santa Rosa has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 150.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Hebbronville struggles in that department as they've been even better at 260.7 per game. It's looking like Friday's match might have some serious battles in the trenches.
