If the Butler Bulldogs were riding high off their 77-10 takedown of the Westside Patriots on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Butler took a 54-35 bruising from Campbell on Saturday.
Butler lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Karen Nimo, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds. Brayla Harris was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with four steals.
Butler's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Campbell, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.
Butler will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Westside at 3:30 p.m. on January 13th. Westside is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. As for Campbell, they will face off against Greenforest at 9:30 a.m. on Monday. Greenforest has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
