Despite the defeat, Nebraska Christian had strong showings from Micah Perdew, who scored 26 points, and Oliver Herman, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. That was a full 57.8% of Nebraska Christian's points, marking the 12th time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Nebraska Christian's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Shelby-Rising City, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.
Nebraska Christian will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Chargers at 7:30 p.m. Riverside is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games. As for Shelby-Rising City, they will head out on the road to face off against the Eagles on Friday. Bruning-Davenport/Shickley is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
