Basketball Game Preview: Logos Knights vs. St. John Bosco Academy Patriots

The Logos Knights will challenge the St. John Bosco Academy Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Logos is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.7 points per game this season.

Logos is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Freeman just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They were beaten by the Scotties 60-31. The matchup marked the Knights' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Logos got top-tier performance from Seamus Wilson, who went 9 for 21 on his way to 20 points in addition to five boards and four steals. The game was Wilson's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucius Comis, who posted two points and 13 rebounds.

Meanwhile, St. John Bosco Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch last Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 54-36 bruising from Genesee.

Logos' loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for St. John Bosco Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Logos strolled past St. John Bosco Academy in their previous meeting back in March of 2015 by a score of 60-45. Will Logos repeat their success, or does St. John Bosco Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
