Make it ten blowout wins for the Triton Central Tigers this season. Everything went their way against Beech Grove on Thursday as Triton Central made off with a 49-23 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Triton Central has posted since December 27, 2023.
Triton Central was led to victory by Quinn King and Maryrose Felling. King scored eight points along with six rebounds and six steals, while Felling scored 20 points along with four steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Felling has scored at least a third of Triton Central's points. Brooklyn Bailey was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with ten rebounds.
Despite the defeat, Beech Grove had strong showings from Mylee Boling, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds, and Lyla Muffler-challis, who scored six points. That was a full 47.8% of Beech Grove's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Triton Central has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Beech Grove, they dropped their record down to 14-8 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
