On Saturday, Clear Springs got the win against O'Connor by a conclusive 66-42.
O'Connor's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Julian Barron, who scored 12 points. Barron scored a full 28.6% of O'Connor's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Herrera, who scored 11 points.
Clear Springs has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for O'Connor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clear Springs will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against North Shore at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. North Shore will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 447th, while Clear Springs is ranked 117th). As for O'Connor, they will head out on the road to face off against Jay at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Jay's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five matchups.
