If Wood River wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Broken Bow, they should've done a better job of containing McKenna Jacobsen. The Indians came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Jacobsen, who had 27 assists and six digs. Jacobsen is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season.

Broken Bow easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-9.

The win made it two in a row for Broken Bow and bumps their season record up to 5-4. As for Wood River, their defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

Broken Bow didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Grand Island Central Catholic on the 16th. As for Wood River, they will head out on the road to take on Laurel-Concord-Coleridge at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
