The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Academy for Classical Education in their matchups with Northeast: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the loss, Academy for Classical Education saw an underclassman step up: Jaylon Davis scored 14 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryson Vincent , who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, Jordan's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their seventh straight loss. They fell 67-55 to Columbus. While losing is never fun, Jordan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 489th, while Columbus is ranked 163rd).
Academy for Classical Education's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Jordan, they bumped their record down to 1-7 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
