The Sailors simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Willard Crimson Flashes 60-22 with plenty of help from Kuhns, who rushed for 179 yards and four scores on only 11 carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last four games he's played dating back to last season.
Issac Kyser was another major influence, as he rushed for 44 yards and ran in a TD. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up 0.5 sacks and making five total tackles.
Vermilion's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Willard, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
Coming up, Vermilion will take on Elyria Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Willard, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Margaretta at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Crimson Flashes their first taste of in-conference action this season.
