Even though the Mountain Crest Mustangs scored an imposing 59 points on Wednesday, the Ridgeline Riverhawks still came out on top. Ridgeline secured a 63-59 W over the Mustangs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Ridgeline.
Ridgeline's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carson Cox, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cam Blotter, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Mountain Crest lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Josh Arnell, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Arnell has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Kaden Hess, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds.
Ridgeline is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Mountain Crest, they dropped their record down to 11-5 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
