The Wyoming Area Warriors had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They took a serious blow against Southern Columbia Area, falling 34-7. Wyoming Area has struggled against Southern Columbia Area recently, as their contest on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Anthony DeLucca threw for 78 yards and a touchdown. Kevin Wiedl was his top target, picking up 60 receiving yards and no touchdowns. On the ground, Aaron Crossley rushed for 50 yards.
Louden Murphy was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 57 receiving yards.
Wyoming Area has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which somehow isn't as good as their 8-1 record this season. As for Southern Columbia Area, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 8-1.
