The Bryant Hornets were the 49-44 winner over the Northside Grizzlies when they last played one another back in February of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Bryant received a tough blow on Tuesday as they fell 61-42 to Northside. Bryant has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Northside got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Hazley Grotjohn out in front who scored 12 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cherish Blackmon, who scored 12 points.
Bryant's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Northside, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bryant will take on Sylvan Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northside, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Gravette at 6:00 p.m. Gravette is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
