Omaha Central's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Inia Jones, who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kiara Baptiste, who scored 10 points along with 7 rebounds.
Buena Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Omaha Central, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Buena Vista will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Burke at 5:30 p.m. on December 8th. As for Omaha Central, they will take on Omaha North at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Omaha North focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Thursday.
