Grady Schmidt Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Grady Schmidt produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Huntley Project to the win on Friday. Schmidt rushed for 178 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (113.4). That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in August of 2023.
Schmidt and Huntley Project will welcome Roundup at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Red Devils got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Panthers, probably because Schmidt had a solid game then too: he rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

While Colstrip might've come up empty on Friday, Kai Heck wasn't going down without a fight. Nobody could stop Heck as he rushed for 75 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 100 yards on five of 12 attempts.
Colstrip dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Heck and Colstrip will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Joliet at 7:00 p.m.
