Todrick Withers made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Williamson is 2-1 when Withers posts two or more runs, but 1-12 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Oneal Thomas III, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.
Meanwhile, while Parker put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Rain. The Thundering Herd blew past the Red Raiders 22-0. The result was nothing new for the Thundering Herd, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
The team relied heavily on Jordan Willis, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, two stolen bases, and five RBI. Those two triples gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kasey Harris, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
Parker always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .824. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in four consecutive contests.
Williamson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Parker, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Williamson has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Parker struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Williamson skirted past Parker 11-10 when the teams last played back in March of 2025. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Thundering Herd have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
